Reiko Sudo has attracted international attention for her innovative textile creations. The immersive installation ‘nuno nuno’, in which Sudo-led NUNO’s expressive textiles become cubes and fill the space, will make its debut in Osaka. Focusing on four production areas in NUNO’s collections—Kurume, Tsuruoka, Kyoto, and Kiryu—the exhibition will express the energy of Osaka today as it moves into the future with textiles related to light, such as ‘kira kira’ and ’suke suke’. The exhibition is designed by we+, an emerging contemporary design studio.
