A collaboration between young contemporary artist Saki Matsumura and three well-established Kyoto confectionery stores in Kyoto. Fine fresh confectionery created by traditional confectionery artisans from Oimatsu, Masahiro Kanaya, and Shichijo Kanshundo inspired by the works of Saki Matsumura are available. This is an enriching chance to experience art through Kyoto-style confectionery.
Saki Matsumura
Born in Nozawa Onsen Village, Nagano Prefecture. She completed the painting course at Kyoto University of Art and Design. She creates dynamic abstract paintings. In addition to exhibitions both domestic and international, she has also recently undertaken commissioned work such as office installations.
