The collection “Different Dimension” is presented in the 2022FW. With the theme “Wind and Fabric”, an experimental presentation was conducted to make the invisible “wind” perceptible through dresses made of “fabric”, a high-density woven material such as nylon and polyester.
Furthermore, the dresses displayed at that time were scanned, digitized and sold as NFTs (blockchain certificates) in a new process of “Object to Digital” conversion. (The sale has now ended) This time there will be several art pieces on display from the collection. Be sure to check out the large-scale works in fabric shaped by the wind.
Yoshio Kubo
Graduated from Philadelphia University’s School of Textile & Science in Fashion Design in 2000. He then worked for haute couture designer Robert Danes in New York, where he was involved in the production of all collections for four years. Upon returning to Japan, he founded “yoshiokubo” and has been presenting collections since the S/S 2005 season.
