Pepper Studio creates a series of curated displays at Hello Darling, a unique vintage shop situated in Uehonmachi. In our concept: apARTment, we hope to explore ideas of home, ideas of self and how we express our identities and share what brings us joy - through vintage items, artwork and objects that each carry a story of their own.
Taena Hoshi
Born in Tokyo, raised in Australia. After completing a course in Interior Decoration and Design at Melbourne’s RMIT in 2010, Taena cut her teeth at an interior design studio headed by her mentor, Maree Howley. She moved to Osaka with her partner in 2016, and started work as freelance designer and prop stylist in 2023.
Hello Darling
Hello Darling is a vintage & used select shop located in Uehonmachi. The owner, Seval, is from Germany and has a Kurdish Turkish background. Her selections reflect her story growing up in Germany - men’s and women’s wear, accessories and home ware from Europe and US that each carry a story of their own. Hello Darling is a unique space where everyone from vintage lovers and beginners feel welcome.
