The moment you pause, you find yourself at a “crossroads of time,” where past and future intersect.

Transparent discs suspended in space overlap two phenomena—transparency and reflection. Depending on the viewer’s position and line of sight, reflections of oneself, other visitors, and the surrounding space begin to layer. Through this shifting interplay, visitors gradually dissolve into the exhibition space.

Artist / Brand

Akira Yamaguchi

Akira Yamaguchi primarily works in architectural design, while also engaging in spatial and stage direction, along with installation and sculptural works, forming a crossdisciplinary practice.
His works can be understood as a process of exploration carried out on a single large table, consistently engaging with the properties of materials and phenomena such as light, wind, and gravity, and seeking new forms of expression that emerge through their relationships.
