By slowly pouring thick acrylic paint onto the canvas, the colors crawl across the surface and solidify. We will work with participants to create a large-scale piece that transforms over time.

Dust in the Stomach is a collaborative installation by Karu Miyoshi and Rebeka Akane Fimmel, experienced one visitor at a time. Set apart from external gaze, the work explores unstable ground through processes of accumulation and transformation. By inviting viewers to touch—or choose not to—the installation foregrounds agency, responsibility, and embodied decision‑making.

- This "talking event" explores the behind-the-scenes story of the architecture that has shaped the city of Osaka, offering fresh perspectives to make strolls through the city even more enjoyable.
Nikken Sekkei, a firm deeply involved in Osaka’s urban development, along with architectural historian Professor Shunsuke Kurakata, will engage in a dialogue to delve into the evolution of urban design along Midosuji Avenue and the design processes behind the latest projects such as Grand Green Osaka.
From the details of materials such as stone cladding to the evolution of urban development methods, this event spans various scales, weaving in human-centered anecdotes, such as behind-the-scenes stories, to help guests experience the connection between art, design, architecture and the city.

On display are a vibrant, handcrafted giant tapestry and the “Sorry Boy” series,developed during an artist residency in Arita, Saga to symbolize the power of authenticity. Additionally, a collaborative workshop will be held during the exhibition, where students create and display tapestries on-site through a creative dialogue with Bas Kosters.
