Kai Nobuyuki
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1982, he was raised in Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture. He currently lives in Tokyo.
At the beginning of the activity, he drew mechanical and abstract works with a black pen on a wooden board, but established a method to create a marble pattern and add color and flow by incorporating digital from 2020. The marble pattern was inspired by the grain of wood when it was painted on a wooden board.
Starting in 2021, we will expand our activities in earnest and hold private exhibitions at galleries and department stores all over the country.
In 2023, he devised a participatory workshop called "Marbling Puzzle," in which he could experience his work as a large puzzle. As participants wear pieces one by one, it provides an experience where various elements overlap and one world becomes a shape.
In recent years, she also participated in art fairs at home and abroad. In addition to production of works, it is developing activities that do not limit the place of expression, such as participatory workshops and client work.
