The artist creates works that combine vibrant colors with diverse materials and symbolic icons in a layered manner. Through a pop sensibility and light color composition, the artist deliberately softly reflects the shadows of society and the times.

Artist / Brand

Shinya Sakurai

Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1981. After graduating from the Department of Art Planning at Osaka University of Arts in 2004, he moved to Italy. He currently lives in Turin, Italy. While creating works with themes of love and peace, he also pursues "a rich life with art," and works on design and collaborations in various fields such as fashion, wine labels, and interiors. He has held solo and group exhibitions around the world and has also exhibited at art fairs.
