Bubble Galaxy
In the darkness, soap bubbles bounce light off one another, their growing shimmer radiating ecstasy and euphoria.
When their overlapping colours begin to foam and glow, they become a luminous galaxy.
Yutaka Sugata
Born in 1983. Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture.
Using photography and a variety of media, he transforms "fragile" phenomena into perceptions and presents different phases.
I believe that the pursuit of highly personal awareness will somehow touch upon human existence and provide an opportunity to confront others and the world.
Osaka Takashimaya Department Store
A long-established department store serving as a landmark in the Osaka Minami district. The store is directly connected to Namba Stations on the Nankai Electric Railway and the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, offering a wide variety of ladies’ fashion, cosmetics, and sundries.
