ABENO HARUKAS ART MUSEUM
This is the first major retrospective in 30 years in Japan of this representative Belgian artist of the late 20th century. His soft colors, light touch, and approachable, humorous style are imbued with a profound view of the world and life, as well as various social messages. This exhibition allows visitors of all ages to fully utilize their imaginations and enjoy the imaginary journeys that Folon invites them on.

Jean-Michel Folon

Born in Brussels, Belgium in 1934. After studying architecture and industrial design, he aimed to become an artist, and his drawings caught the attention of an American magazine, which led to his global success. He demonstrated his multifaceted talents in a wide range of fields, from graphic work for magazines and posters to painting, sculpture, and animation. He passed away in Monaco in 2005.

ABENO HARUKAS ART MUSEUM 

This urban art museum opened in March 2014 with the concept of "all kinds of art for all kinds of people." It holds a wide variety of exhibitions showcasing a wide range of art from all over the world, past and present. It is located directly above the station in a complex building, making it easily accessible, and it is open until 8pm on weekdays (Tuesday to Friday), making it a popular museum with many visitors.
