Yasuhiko Tsuchida
Born in Osaka in 1969, Yasuhiko Tsuchida is the only Japanese artist to have an atelier on Murano Island in Venice.He is often referred to as the “Poet of Glass” for his distinctive artistic style, which conveys powerful messages, deep concepts, and a strong sense of philosophy.In recent years, he has expanded his creative practice across various genres, collaborating with artists and creators in fields such as literature, gastronomy, architecture, film, fashion, and music.In 2021, the documentary film “Magone / Yasuhiko Tsuchida,” directed by Atsushi Tanabe, was submitted to 11 international film festivals and received a total of five awards, attracting wide attention.In 2023, he held a major retrospective exhibition at Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.
