Osaka University of Arts, Department of Crafts
The Power of Crafts 2025
This exhibition and sale by graduates of the Department of Crafts at Osaka University of Arts has been running since 2018. It brings together 50 artists from the fields of metal crafts, ceramics, textiles and dyeing and weaving, and glass crafts. This exhibition will have new exhibition and sales booths for works by 14 faculty and staff members and 45 current students, with a total of 109 people delivering the charm of crafts and the power of craftsmanship.

In order to explore materials, master techniques, and expand new possibilities, the Department of Crafts at Osaka University of Arts has four courses specializing in metal, clay, fiber, and glass that work together to foster talent who will create the future of Japanese manufacturing through the creation of works that utilize analog sensibilities and digital communication in a rich production environment.
