From ancient times to modern times, people have been inspired by nature to create objects.This exhibition, under the supervision of Gallery KIAN, presents ceramics, textiles and other works by artists from all over the world who are inspired by nature.The exhibition also includes mineral specimens, primitive art and other artist-less forms selected by howse.Nature from distant lands becomes part of our daily life through objects.Please enjoy a series of beauty starting from nature at the exhibition.

KJA studio

A ceramic artist based in the UK.After graduating from art school, she worked in the field of textiles for about 10 years before changing her production direction to ceramics.As well as taking inspiration from nature and landscape, she creates new pieces by upgrading ceramics from memory that she has used in the past to simpler and more original forms.

Mel Lumb Ceramics

Australian-based ceramic artist.After working in corporate marketing for over 20 years, she started her career as a ceramic artist in 2013.The basis of her production has always been respect for nature.Most of his work is contemporary and simple in design, with an emphasis on earthy, tactile qualities.The work is carefully rendered with attention to detail, not only in terms of beauty but also in terms of tactile qualities.She currently maintains a studio in her home in the beautiful Queensland town of Eumundi.

Sophie Alda

London-based artist, designer and ceramicist. She explores figurative and functional design. She is one of the founding members of the clay collective, a shared studio of ceramic art in London, with the aim of promoting ceramic art techniques and creating a range of collaborations.
