Taro Okamoto
Japanese artist, sculptor, painter, architect, designer, and social activist. Known as a member of the “Japonisme” art group founded in 1948. His works, characterized by their uniquely modern expressiveness and fusion of Eastern and Western elements, have won him great acclaim both in Japan and abroad. His best-known work is “Tower of the Sun” .
Not Banksy
Artist. Using familiar materials such as wood boards as canvases, he produces canvas works and editions with BANKSY spray-painted on them. Following a few breaks from his activities, he held his first solo exhibition, Banksy vs Kazimir Malevich 1913-2018, in London.In 2021, he held his first solo exhibition in Japan, “Lies, Cheating, Stealing, and the Death of Art in the Land of the Rising Sun”.
