Considering nature, seeking a happy life in harmony with nature. Honoka Kawazoe, who is fascinated by rough stones and travels from unexplored region to unexplored region in search of minerals that meet her own aesthetic sense, and Yoshihi Futana, who works as an explorer, botanist, and professional outdoor activist. These two creators, who understand the beauty and potential of natural elements, are collaborating in an exhibition that features an installation of uniquely creative wreaths made of wild plants and flowers, and a calendar flower circle that is combined with 12 months of stones.

Honoka Kawazoe

Emerald jewelry designer, gemstone appraiser and emerald presenter. Born in Hyogo, Japan in 1971, she has been involved in emerald mining and polishing in Colombia since 1993, and has been exhibiting jewelry specializing in emerald gemstones at Hankyu Umeda Gallery since 2004. She is active in creating works in Bali, which is full of natural energy, and holds solo exhibitions and displays around the world every year.

Yoshihi Futana

Born in Ehime, Japan in 1943, he is a professional outdoor activist and artist. He has served on the board of directors of the Japan Youth Development Association and as a lecturer at the Tokyo University of the Arts, and founded the non-profit organization, Chikyu Open-Air School. He has worked on outdoor art projects at the Flower Expo, Expo ’70, and the Asian Contemporary Art Exhibition, among others.
