What is “Re Bonsai”? Bonsai is a traditional Japanese culture. As part of its commitment to the SDGs, Re Bonsai upcycles dried bonsais, transforming their spirit and form into contemporary interior design, fashion, and art. Using real dried plants, the dried bonsais are dyed with charcoal cinders, given neon-colored branches and leaves, pruned and potted. No maintenance is required, making indoor bonsai easy to enjoy. This time, in addition to the original Daruma pot bonsai, we also offer “SNEAKERS RE BONSAI”, a service that transforms beloved sneakers into planters. We present this as an art experience.
