In the Escalator space on the 1st to 10th floors of the Daimaru Shinsaibashi Main Building

A large installation called “D-WALL”, measuring 4m in width and 50m in height. This reconstruction fuses sculpture and video to capture the beauty of the stained glass that was on the ceiling and pillars of the original Vories-designed building architecture, which was iconic to the Shinsaibashi Store.

KEISUKE ARIKUNI

Project Director
Arikuni Keisuke [from Flowplateaux Co., Ltd.]
Born in 1981. After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, Arikuni Keisuke worked at an event production company and a major advertising agency. Then, he joined Rhizomatiks Co., Ltd. (which split into Flowplateaux Co., Ltd. at the end of January 2021) . He was the General Director of “TOKYO COLORS”, a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Tokyo Station, and planned and produced “FIND/47” sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. He also planned and produced “AXYZ” at the “SHIBUYA CAST” permanent installation facility. He was in charge, as project director, of an observation facility called “SHIBUYA SKY” and the “Sakura Stage” complex facility in Shibuya, Tokyo.
